Demi: Possibly the best burgers in Mexico City

We know, you come to Mexico City for the tacos. But if you're a burger fan, or you've been here long enough that you're ready for a change, check out Demi.

Tacos are obviously the food of choice in Mexico City. But sometimes, we want something different. And we just discovered a neighborhood spot with burgers that are unbelievably good. They might just be the best burgers we’ve ever had.

The place is called Demi, and it’s the newest of chef Alexis Ayala’s Mexico City restaurants.

Demi is located in the former home of Pargot, Ayala’s fine-dining restaurant, which moved directly across the street, and next to his original taco stand, Tacos Los Alexis. (Those places are also worth visiting.)
