I wouldn't say many but there are some and even 1 is enough to annoy you! They aren't bad out in the world but it's a pain if one gets in your bedroom. There are plug-in repellants you can buy here. They work well but have a strong smell. And of course, depending on your lodging, you can keep your windows closed.
