One to add to my list. How is solo dining in CDMX? Are solo diners welcomed or placed in out of the way spaces or? While in Baja one restaurant placed me at a huge round table for 6. Talk about sticking out.
We haven't done too much solo dining but it seems to be fine. I see people eating alone and we've met some people who are here for work who go out alone.
A lot of the restaurants are smaller, so most of the tables are for 2 or 4 people by design and they're pushed together for larger groups. And more often than not, the server will ask you to choose your own table, so you can take one that's size-appropriate :)
