🚶Avenida Amsterdam, an elliptical street that encircles the Hipódromo area of 🌳Condesa, is one of the prettiest spots in Mexico City, thanks to its iconic tree-lined roadways and pedestrian-friendly median.
Come along with me as I walk the 1.2-mile loop that follows the path of a former horse-racing track. You can cover the circuit in about 20 minutes—less if you’re joining the runners and joggers on the route. But if you take your time, you can check out cute cafés, shops, and circular plazas along the way.
Walk inward about a block from Avenida Amsterdam at any point and you’ll reach🌳 Parque México, a large, shady park you can explore. Be sure to admire the well-behaved 🐕 dogs of Mexico City while you’re there.
